Neilson Music School was established to provide thoughtfully individualized piano lessons, drum lessons, and theory classes in East Edmonton, Alberta.

Tim Neilson, BMus

Tim Neilson is a musician, educator, and the founder of Neilson Music School in Edmonton. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Drumset Performance from MacEwan University, Grade 10 RCM Piano certification, and has over a decade of performance experience.

Music lessons are taught in a professionally equipped home studio in East Edmonton. The environment is quiet and focused, free from the distractions of busy commercial studios.
The piano studio features a beautiful acoustic grand piano and abundant natural light.
The drum studio features two full drum sets, allowing the student and teacher to play side by side for a seamless and collaborative experience.
Virtual and hybrid one-on-one lessons are also available via Zoom.
